Preparing a motor bearing enquiry
The information needed to review a motor bearing replacement or supply request.

Start with the complete bearing designation, including every suffix, and identify the motor or machine application. A photograph of the marking and a drawing can help resolve an incomplete reference.
Provide installation dimensions, operating speed, loading and temperature conditions. Include the required clearance, sealing, lubrication and any noise or vibration criteria. If an insulated configuration is required, provide the applicable specification and test requirements.
Different suffixes can describe different configurations. Ask for the proposed specification to be confirmed before accepting a substitute. Include your quantity, packaging and destination when requesting a quotation.
